Well, I skipped last weekend. Kinda anyways. I weighed in and unfortunately gained - 161.4lbs. I was disappointed and was still planning on measuring but I had to go to work and got busy and never ended up doing it. I felt really bloated and yucky last weekend and was just not feeling the weigh in etc. I did, however, have an excuse (always have a reason!). I was not able to add exercise to the regime as I had hoped because of an injury. I had a second degree hip flexor strain. I was put on prednisone and told to rest. Resting doesn't help with weight loss and prednisone is a steroid which helps with weight GAIN! Most people gain a few pounds a week on prednisone unless it is less than 10mg a day and I was taking 40mg. The good thing is that when you come off it, the weight usually comes off too. Prednisone makes you feel bloated too - so this made me feel a little better about how I felt last weekend.
Next weigh in and measurements are to be taken on Sunday - not long now. I've been a little impatient though and have weighed in a couple of times this week and unless something happens in the next couple of days - I will have a smile on my face when I post this weeks results!

Week 5 - weight watchers
Well first week on weight watchers after a month on dynamite was very different. I could eat whatever I wanted and whenever I wanted - within reason obviously. I have enjoyed eating chocolate, rice and potatoes again and it has been a good week. I was unable to exercise this week because of Skyler being sick but have scheduled a few classes to start next week. I was fully prepared this week for a weight gain - since I had such a dramatic change in diet without the exercise. If I had completely finished the dynamite protocol I would have done 23 days after reaching my goal to "lock in". However, I'm not at my goal so I just changed. This also made me think that I would experience a gain this week too.

Week four results - one month in
Week four has shown better results than I could have hoped for. I took last Sat, Sun and Mon off - eating whatever I wanted! I actually put on 4.5lbs - URGH!!! On Tuesday I had a "steak day" and then followed as best I could. The results....

Thighs 27.5" 27"
Calves 13.5" 13.5"
Ankles 9" 8.5"
Weight 163lbs 160.4lbs
Inches lost 3". Weight lost - 2.6lbs - although if you count the 4.5lbs I put on I lost 7.1lbs. I'm pleased with the results although at the start I was hoping for more. Due to not really able to exercise on this protocol and my work hours - Miles and I decided that it was probably best to not continue with this protocol. It has given me the jump start I need and hopefully I will continue to see the loss. Unfortunately, eating 15 -20 mins after taking the drops helps maximize benefits and when at work this seemed to be exactly when we would get a call. Also being up at night 'caused problems. Several people at work have been doing the weightwatchers new program with success and I'm excited to switch over to that while implementing healthy habits I learned in school and from the flat belly solution.
Next weeks weigh in will be interesting :-)

Week three - results
Week three results are not great but still heading in the right direction. Definitely happier with the inches than the weight. Week four is probably going to see a gain as I have a 3day holiday weekend. Hopefully it won't be too bad or take me too long to get back n track.
