Skipped a week

Well, I skipped last weekend.  Kinda anyways.  I weighed in and unfortunately gained - 161.4lbs.  I was disappointed and was still planning on measuring but I had to go to work and got busy and never ended up doing it.  I felt really bloated and yucky last weekend and was just not feeling the weigh in etc.  I did, however, have an excuse (always have a reason!).  I was not able to add exercise to the regime as I had hoped because of an injury.  I had a second degree hip flexor strain.  I was put on prednisone and told to rest.  Resting doesn't help with weight loss and prednisone is a steroid which helps with weight GAIN!  Most people gain a few pounds a week on prednisone unless it is less than 10mg a day and I was taking 40mg.  The good thing is that when you come off it, the weight usually comes off too.  Prednisone makes you feel bloated too - so this made me feel a little better about how I felt last weekend.

Next weigh in and measurements are to be taken on Sunday - not long now.  I've been a little impatient though and have weighed in a couple of times this week and unless something happens in the next couple of days - I will have a smile on my face when I post this weeks results!
